PAWNEE -  The Pawnee County Sheriff's Office was awarded a $65,000.00 grant for the purchase of body cameras throught the Small, Rurual and Tribal micro-grant program.  The program is funded through the BJA and offers small and rural agencies the means to purchase body cameras.  The total cost for the first round of cameras will total just under $25,000.00 with an expected deployment date of March of 2024.
